Confidence comes from ACTION. But when you’re crippled by fear, you stay stuck, and you’re afraid to take action. I’ve been there; I felt stuck in my corporate job for a year until I finally resigned to follow my dreams. I overcame this hurdle by taking daily actions to move me one step closer to meeting my goals. In addition, I had a solid strategy in place that allowed me to pursue my purpose and still pay my bills for over 6 months if needed with the savings I built up.
How to boost confidence
Taking a risk is often needed to build confidence. I’m a firm believer in making things happen. Whatever you put your focus on in your life will grow.
When it comes to confidence, mindset is everything. Optimism will take you far in business. Hanging around positive influences will make a huge impact on how you rise up as a leader in your field. Be selective on who you invite into your inner circle. They say you’re an average of the five people you’re closest with. So, choose wisely my friend!
Doubt sucks. It tries to creep its way into our minds all the time, especially when we’re pursing our dreams. This is why it’s important to read self development books. If you don’t have time to read as a busy mom then listen to books on audible while you’re getting ready or when you’re driving.
